Date: February 1st

Dear La Pine Community Members, Businesses, and Partners,
La Pine continues to grow, and with this growth comes an important opportunity to invest in places that
strengthen our community. We are excited to share one of our most meaningful projects to date: the
creation of a 2,400-square-foot, state-of-the-art splash pad located within Heritage Park, right here
in the heart of La Pine.

The total cost of the project is approximately $300,000, which includes design, construction,
water-efficient features, and long-term infrastructure. Through this capital campaign, our goal is to raise
$100,000.00 to help bring this project to life. Proposed construction is scheduled to begin in
September 2026, with a planned grand opening on Memorial Weekend 2027
.

This splash pad will offer a safe, inclusive, and engaging outdoor space for children and families. It will
provide a much-needed recreational feature for our community—encouraging active play, outdoor time,
and family connection while enhancing one of La Pine’s most treasured public spaces.

To make this vision a reality, the La Pine Park & Recreation District is launching the La Pine Splash
Pad Capital Campaign
, running from:

February 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026

Why This Project Matters:

  • Creates a fun, safe outdoor play environment for children
  • Provides an accessible recreation option for families of all ages and abilities
  • Strengthens community identity and pride
  • Enhances Heritage Park as a central hub for La Pine activities
  • Encourages healthy, active lifestyles and outdoor engagement
How You Can Support the Campaign:
  • One-time financial contributions
  • Monthly pledges throughout the campaign
  • Community fundraising partnerships and events
  • Spreading the word—sharing this project with friends, neighbors, and networks to help expand
    community awareness and support

Contributions can be made online through our website, by mail to our PO Box, or in person at
the La Pine Community Center. Donations may be made by credit card or check, and all
donations are tax deductible.

Together, We Can Build a Lasting Legacy
Imagine the grand opening of the splash pad—children laughing, families gathering, and a community
celebrating a space created through shared generosity and vision. This project is about more than
water features; it’s about building a place where memories are made and where La Pine comes
together

Your support makes this possible. Thank you for considering a contribution to the La Pine Splash Pad
Capital Campaign and for joining us in creating a brighter, more vibrant future for our community.
