Rex is the former owner of Bancorp Insurance. Rex purchased Bancorp in 1990 after returning home from his New York endeavors, which included school and professional opportunities. His involvement in our community has been strong. Rex is on the Board of the La Pine Fire District and the Sunriver-La Pine Economic Development Council. Rex and Tammy Lesueur are La Pine longtime supporters of everything
Wes Elliot
Term Ends June 30th 2029
Wes Elliott is the owner of La Pine Tax Service and La Pine Liquor Store. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Masters Degree in Accounting in 2006 and went to La Pine High School. He is also the president and treasurer of the La Pine Christmas Basket Association.
Lynn King
Term Ends June 30th 2029
Lynn King is a recent transplant to Central Oregon. Since her move here, she has become involved in City Government, La Pine Women’s Group, La Pine Partners of Park and Rec, Mountain Meadows Quilt Guild and a weekly knitting/crocheting group. Lynn enjoys the fact that she can use her business skills with these organizations and in helping La Pine with its growth and development. She loves the outdoors and being near family including her 3 lab grand-puppies.
Kim Dewey
Term Ends June 30th 2030
My name is Kim Dewey. My husband and I have owned Little River Landscape & Design for 7 years now. You’ll usually find me behind the desk and answering phone calls. But I do help him in the field with irrigation repairs or landscaping when needed.
Before that I worked at the Corner Store for 11 year. I was the deli manager and barista.
We have 2 beautiful daughters that are 10 years apart in age. In my free time I enjoy spending time with them and my husband. I love this little community and am willing to help where and when I can.
Scott McClellan
Term Ends June 30th 2030
Scott McClellan is an avid pickleball player and is currently the Vice President of the La Pine Pickleball Club. Scott donates time in the community to various organizations and is currently on the LPRD Budget Committee.
Board meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6 pm at the Community Center, in the Wickiup Room. Feel free to attend or join by Zoom.
